Welcome James McDonald to the Hundred Club Team

James McDonald (“Jimmy Mac”) brings exactly 40 years, 6 months, 19 days and 16 hours of dedicated service with the Lynn Fire Department to his volunteer role as Fire Service Liaison for the Hundred Club of Massachusetts.  Beginning his career in 1977 on Ladder One and retiring as Fire Chief in 20xx, he built a reputation for steady leadership, deep respect for the fire service, and a strong commitment to those he served alongside.

Chief McDonald’s experience, relationships, and understanding of the fire service community will further strengthen our mission and impact.  His lifelong dedication to the job will help amplify our work and deepen our connection to departments across the Commonwealth.  We are honored that he has chosen to give back to those who have lost a loved one in service by serving with the Hundred Club, and we are proud to welcome him into this key volunteer role. He has already brought meaningful insight, input, credibility, and impact to the Hundred Club family.

Retired from the job — not the spirit.
