The Hundred Club was honored to be a part of the New England Patriots Foundation event recognizing Community Heroes throughout the pandemic. The Hundred Club’s President, Peter Smyth attended the event with Boston Fire Department’s Deputy Chief James Greene who was recognized for his instrumental work during the pandemic. The wife and son of fallen Boston Police Department’s Jose Fontanez were also recognized. Officer Fontanez’s death was a major catalyst for Covid preparedness in the first responder community.
