Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen in the simplest ways. By showing up and spending time together. That spirit was on full display as the Hundred Club of Massachusetts visited the North Reading Police and Fire Departments as part of our Police and Fire Friday’s initiative, fueled by Wellpoint.

These visits are an opportunity to connect with the men and women who serve their communities every day, to share who we are, and to express our appreciation for the work they do. Although the fire department was out on a call during our visit, we left treats behind as a small token of our appreciation for their service.

Police and Fire Fridays continue to open the door for meaningful relationships, strengthening the bond between our organization and the departments we serve. Each visit reinforces our commitment to standing beside these communities and, when the unthinkable happens, being there for their families.
