Other Ways to Give

Matching Gifts

You can double your donation to the Hundred Club of Massachusetts and increase the impact on the families of the fallen if your employer sponsors a matching gift program. These programs match charitable contributions (including your membership dues and donations) made by their employees. Gifts from an employee’s spouse as well as retirees sometimes also qualify for a match.

Donor Advised Funds

A donor advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to the Hundred Club and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.

You can recommend a contribution/grant to the Hundred Club to cover your annual membership dues or in any amount you decide. You can do this by:

  • Contact your financial institution, foundation or your philanthropic advisor or fund manager directly and ask them to send a check to the Hundred Club of Massachusetts.

Please provide the following information to your advisor/institution:

  • Mailing Address: Hundred Club of Massachusetts, Inc., 25 Braintree Hill Office Park, Suite 200, Braintree, MA 02184.
  • Tax ID: 04-2374190

Gifts from your IRA

Regardless of age, designate the Hundred Club of Mass., Inc. as the beneficiary of all or a percentage of your IRA and it will pass to us tax-free after your lifetime. It’s simple, just requiring that you contact your IRA administrator for a change-of-beneficiary form or download a form from your provider’s website.

If you are age 70 ½ and above, you can also make a qualified charitable contribution (QCD) from your IRA to make a charitable donation or pay for your membership dues. This can count towards satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year. This also lowers your taxable income.

Please contact your fund manager or account administrator and/or contact thines@100clubmass.org to learn more.

Tip: It is critical to let us know of your gift because many popular retirement plan administrators assume no obligation to notify a charity of your designation. The administrator also will not monitor whether your gift designations are followed.
