Timothy P. Jackson‚ 51‚ a 27-year veteran of the Worcester Fire Department‚ died in the December 3‚ 1999‚ warehouse fire‚ while searching for two trapped firefighters. Five other firefighters also died in this incident. A U. S. Army Vietnam veteran‚ Jackson had received many commendations including a Bronze Star‚ an Army Commendation Medal‚ and a Purple Heart. Tim leaves behind his wife, 2 children, and two step children.
