The Hundred Club of Massachusetts is proud to announce the creation of the Norman Knight Founders Circle—a new and distinguished category of Lifetime Membership that honors the extraordinary legacy of our founder, Norman Knight, and ensures a lasting impact on the families we serve.
This exclusive opportunity is reserved for those who hold a steadfast commitment to our mission to unequivocally support the families of the fallen. Founders Circle members will stand among our most trusted champions, with support that provides vital long-term resources that allow us to respond immediately and meaningfully when a first responder makes the ultimate sacrifice.
Eligibility & Membership Criteria
Membership in the Norman Knight Founders Circle is limited to the first 100 individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Current or former Club members
- Age 25 or older
- One-time Contribution to the Norman Knight Founders Circle in the amount of $100,000
Once the 100-member limit is reached, the Founders Circle will be closed, and new qualifying individuals will be invited to join the Norman Knight Legacy Circle at $100,000, preserving the intent and exclusivity of this original founding group of 100 individuals.
Use of Funds: A Legacy of Impact
Your $100,000 commitment will create a family support fund. Unlike a conventional endowment, which limits use to annual income only, this fund is designed to provide both immediate and long-term support by permitting access to principal when needed for direct family support costs, while still being invested for growth and future income. This hybrid approach ensures that your generosity delivers meaningful help to families today and preserves resources for the families we will serve tomorrow.
- Immediate financial support to families of fallen police officers and firefighters statewide
- Scholarships and college tuition assistance for surviving children
- Resources to help families rebuild their lives
This gift will ensure the Hundred Club’s long-term sustainability, allowing us to meet urgent needs over time and expand core programs — all while ensuring no family faces tragedy alone.
Recognition & Stewardship
As a member of the Norman Knight Founders Circle, you will receive:
- Permanent name listing on our website, in our Annual Report, and on a permanent plaque in the Hundred Club office.
- A personalized glass recognition plaque commemorating your lifetime membership
