The Hundred Club of Mass., Inc. Hires First Executive Director

Tracie brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, strategic fundraising, and organizational development, as well as consulting for nonprofit leaders to the role. Tracie joins The 100 Club after running her own successful consulting business, where she advised executive leadership on fundraising, program development, and strategic planning, including developing systems and strategies from the ground up.

Prior to consulting, she held development and leadership roles at a number of non-profits in Massachusetts. As the new Executive Director, Tracie will lead the efforts to expand The Hundred Club’s impact by engaging new institutional and individual supporters, strengthening existing donor and union relationships, cultivating new board members, and fostering partnerships. Tracie is excited to bring her fundraising expertise and leadership skills to The Hundred Club of Mass as the new Executive Director. Tracie holds a bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University and a master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and lives in Lynn with her husband, a 25-year veteran of the Lynn Fire Department, and their family.

“I am truly honored to join the 100  Club of Massachusetts as its first Executive Director. This organization’s mission is close to my heart—my husband is a firefighter, and my family includes many in law enforcement, so I understand firsthand the sacrifice our first responders and their families make every day. I’m committed to building on the Club’s legacy of support and compassion for the families of our fallen heroes and excited to work with the Board of Directors and team of staff, volunteers and supporters, and first responders throughout the state to help elevate the organization’s impact and ensure its long-term success.”

In a joint statement, Joe Abely, Chairman, and Peter Smyth, President, stated that that since its inception the 100 Club has been successfully managed by volunteer board members. “We believe that transitioning to a professionally managed organization is an important step in insuring we both remain sustainable and thrive in the future. We are thrilled that Tracie is joining the 100 Club and very much look forward to working with her”.
