About Us
The Hundred Club of Mass., Inc. has been a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting the families of our fallen heroes since 1959. The Hundred Club gives an unequivocal and unconditional promise to police officers and firefighters in Massachusetts that in the event they are killed in the line of duty, we will compassionately care for their surviving families for the rest of their lives and never forget their sacrifice.
Our Mission
The Hundred Club provides benefits to the surviving families of police officers and firefighters killed in the line-of-duty in Massachusetts. For over 60 years, we have provided uninterrupted support to these families. To this day, “we care for those who care for us” is still at the forefront of our mission.
Who We Serve
The Hundred Club serves the following first responders and provides support to their families; police officers, and firefighters in all 351 Massachusetts cities and towns, the Massachusetts State Police, and the MBTA Transit Police. The Club also provides benefits to those who die other than in the line of duty.
Our Commitment
Some of our current beneficiary families have been beneficiaries of the Hundred Club for over 50 years. Firefighters and police officers take an oath to protect the public they serve at all costs. When the unthinkable happens, the Hundred Club is there to help.
Our History
The Hundred Club of Mass., Inc. was founded in 1959 by four men with a vision of creating an organization that would support the families of firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty. These four men were Howard W. Fitzpatrick, Norman Knight, Richard S. Robie, and George Swartz.
