About Us

The Hundred Club was founded in 1959 by four men – Howard W. Fitzpatrick, Norman Knight, Richard S. Robie, and George Swartz – with a vision of creating an organization that would support the families of firefighters and police officers killed in the line-of-duty.

Supporting the Families of our Fallen Heroes

Today, the Hundred Club’s promise extends to the families of police officers and firefighters in Massachusetts who have lost their lives, regardless of whether it was in the line-of-duty or non-line-of-duty. In the event of a tragic loss , the Hundred Club is there with immediate financial support.

For those families who have lost a loved one in the line-of-duty, our support endures for the rest of their lives – including additional resources and benefits that honor the memory of their loved one – ensuring that their sacrifice is never forgotten.

Our Mission

The Hundred Club provides support and benefits to the surviving families of fallen police officers and firefighters in Massachusetts. For 65 years, we have provided uninterrupted support to these families. To this day, “we care for those who care for us” is still at the forefront of our mission.

Who We Serve

The Hundred Club serves the following first responders and provides support to their families in the event of a tragic loss; police officers and firefighters in all 351 Massachusetts cities and towns, the Massachusetts State Police, and the MBTA Transit Police.
